8. Your Physical Store
a) Posters
A great way to increase exposure to your experience is to create and stick up promotional posters to your business windows or other visible places outside. On the poster, we recommend including the name of your experience, some photos of your experience, and a QR code that viewers can scan to access the experience! Refer to point 8 for more information on how to create a QR code. If you don't own a store space, but have included shop, cafe or restaurant stops in your experience, why not have a chat to these businesses and ask if you can hang your poster up there! Check out some poster inspiration below.

b) Brochures/Pamphlets
Another useful way to engage your customers with your experience is to hand out physical brochures promoting your experience. We recommend creating a trifold pamphlet using our template linked below, and include your contact information, a description of your experience, photos, and maybe even a personal story about how you became a FreeGuides tour guide. This is beneficial because you can include a bit more information in comparison to a poster, and customers can have their own tangible copy to take with them.

c) Business Cards
Nothing screams professional like your own business card! Creating a business card to hand out to new explorers who visit your store is a great way to market yourself as a FreeGuides tour guide and direct people to all the experiences you have created on the app. It's also useful for explorers to have your contact information if they have any questions about the experiences you have created.

9. FreeGuides QR Codes
Recently we ran a pilot program in NYC where one of our guides stuck up QR codes around the city redirecting explorers to their own experience... and this saw HUGE success with a lot of traffic being directed to their experience! To share your own experience, it would be a great idea for you to convert your own experience's unique link into a QR code.
We recommend using QRCode Monkey to create your QR code - it's super easy and free to use! Alternatively you can email @daniel@freeguides.com.au and we can arrange for you to be mailed personal QR codes stickers for your tours!
Once you have created your QR codes, we recommend sticking them up in relevant local locations like public signage that may be relevant to your tour. For example, for the Central park tour the tour guide stuck them on place name signs and public information signs. See the slideshow below for more example of where you could stick the codes.
